WHAT IS SmartSmoke?

Not all smoke is created equal ! The quality of the smoke produced by burning barbecue pellets is important. 

A smoke that is too heavy and white in color (stale smoke) will leave a film on your food and a create a bitter acrid aftertaste.

Smoke that is too clear creates dry heat which tends to dry out your food and does not impart a true barbecue flavor to your meat.

That is why we developed SmartSmoke.

The computer that controls our grill constantly monitors the amount of airflow, the rate of fuel introduction and three different temperature readings to provide you with the optimum quality of smoke to compliment your cooking cycle.

With our SmartSmoke technology, regardless of the temerature that you chose to cook at, your American Grill will provide an even light blue tinged smoke that penetrates the meat prior to the vaporizing of the wood hydrocarbons.  This is the type of smoke that seals in the juices and leaves behind that wonderful smokey flavor that is associated with traditional barbecue.
